Supervision for Therapists and RP (Qualifying)
Clinical supervision at Wiidookodaadiwin is a structured, closed supervision container for therapists and RP (Qualifying) clinicians working with complex trauma, relational dynamics, and systemic stressors in their clinical work.
This is a space grounded in clinical reflection, ethical accountability, and relational awareness. It is not a therapy space, and it is not a peer support group.
Supervision here is designed to support your development as a clinician through real case consultation, reflective practice, and attention to the relational and cultural dimensions of your work.

Our supervision is grounded in:
-
-
trauma-informed and somatic approaches to clinical work
-
narrative and relational therapy frameworks
-
Indigenous relational and decolonial perspectives

reflective clinical reasoning and ethical decision-making
-

ABOUT THE SUPERVISOR
Supervision is informed by both formal clinical training and lived experience working across clinical, community-based, and relational care settings.
Clinical practice is grounded in:
-
trauma-informed and relational approaches
-
anti-oppressive and culturally responsive frameworks
-
Indigenous relational and decolonial perspectives
-
ongoing reflective and ethical clinical development
This work is shaped by experience navigating clinical systems while holding attention to identity, context, and relational accountability in practice.
This space is for clinicians who:
-
want structured, reflective clinical supervision
-
are open to direct feedback and clinical challenge
-
are actively engaging in self-of-therapist and reflective work
-
are working with complex or relational client presentations
This space is not a fit for clinicians who:
-
are seeking therapy or personal processing space
-
prefer informal consultation without structure or feedback
-
are not currently engaged in reflective clinical development
-
require crisis or emergency clinical support between sessions
IDENTITY + RELATIONAL CONTEXT
This supervision space welcomes clinicians from diverse lived experiences, including Indigenous, Black, racialized, LGBTQ2S+, immigrant, and refugee communities.
Many clinicians arrive here after experiences of disconnection or invisibility in traditional supervision spaces.
The intention is to offer a clinically rigorous, culturally aware, and relationally accountable supervision environment where complexity is not flattened, and clinical identity can be developed with support and structure.
Next Steps
If this approach to supervision feels aligned, the next step is to book a brief consultation.
This is a 20–30 minute conversation to:
-
explore fit for supervision
-
clarify your current clinical needs
-
ensure alignment with the structure and expectations of the group
This is not a supervision session, but a space to determine whether this is the right clinical environment for you.
FAQ
Who is eligible for supervision at Wiidookodaadiwin?
We welcome Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying), mental health professionals, and experienced clinicians seeking reflective supervision. Our supervision is CRPO-compliant and available across Ontario.
Do you offer both individual and group supervision?
Yes. We offer both one-on-one and small group formats. Group supervision space is limited and often focused on shared themes such as trauma work, cultural identity, or therapist self-of-the-therapist reflections.
Is your supervision CRPO-approved?
Yes. Our clinical supervision meets CRPO standards and can be counted toward your required hours.
What makes your supervision space unique?
We centre relational, anti-oppressive, and culturally grounded practice. Many supervisees come to us seeking spaces where they can talk openly about intersectionality, power, and identity in their work without having to translate their lived experience.
Do I have to be from a specific background to work with you?
Not at all. While we deeply welcome BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+, and immigrant therapists, our supervision is open to all who seek to practice with humility, self-awareness, and care.
Can I use supervision sessions to talk about personal challenges related to the work?
Absolutely. Reflecting on your emotional responses, identity, and experiences as a therapist is an important part of supervision. We hold space for the whole of you.
